Off to Minneapolis

And so it the excitement begins with a nine hour drive to destination Minneapolis! I'm so excited for the next five days, and we already have gotten off to a great start. Thanks to Paige and Sarah (and Ben) for getting us here safely and soundly, listening to 'N Sync and Freakonomics podcasts to pass the time.

Of course, no road trip is complete without a couple stops here and there and we took our fair share of them, including a fun detour at a scenic stop in the middle of nowhere. We took a short hike through the woods to get to the view and a have a short photo session. We're lucky the weather was so nice, who would've thought that it would be warmer up north than it is in our Chambana.

Our hotel is nice with lots of things to do (hot tubbing, anyone?) and we managed to find a place to eat that was kiddy corner to it. Can't beat eating good food outside with a warm breeze blowing around your face.
